Bone-In Ribeye Steak with Baked Beans and Bacon, and Coleslaw

This delicious meal features a juicy bone-in ribeye steak served with baked beans and bacon, and a refreshing coleslaw. Perfect for a hearty dinner!

Ingredients

For the Ribeye Steak

  • 2 bone-in ribeye steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 sprig rosemary

For the Baked Beans and Bacon

  • 1 can baked beans
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp mustard

For the Coleslaw

  • 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 head red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions


1. Preheat your grill to high heat.

2. For the Ribeye Steak:
   a. Rub the steaks with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
   b. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
   c. During the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic and rosemary to the steaks.
   d. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

3. For the Baked Beans and Bacon:
   a. In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy.
   b. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent.
   c. Stir in the baked beans, brown sugar, molasses, and mustard.
   d. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. For the Coleslaw:
   a. In a large bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage, red cabbage, and grated carrots.
   b. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
   c. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat evenly.

5. Serve the ribeye steaks with the baked beans and bacon, and coleslaw on the side. Enjoy your meal!
